Heavy bombardment | Turkish forces fire artillery shells on four villages in Manbij countryside

Aleppo province: The villages of Awn Al-Dadat, Al-Lajat, Al-Tukhar and Al-Daraj on Al-Sajour line in Manbij countryside in eastern Aleppo came under heavy artillery fire by Turkish forces in the early hours of Friday morning. However, no casualties have been reported.

It is worth noting that frontlines between areas controlled by “Manbij Military Council” and areas controlled by Turkish-backed factions have experienced frequent attacks and infiltration operations.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that a kamikaze drone launched by Turkish forces targeted Al-Jarad village, north of Manbij in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, which resulted in the injury of a 40-year-old civilian. In return, “Manbij Military Council” forces shot down the drone while it was flying over the village. This coincided with the village being subjected to heavy artillery shelling, as more than 15 shells fell on the village, causing panic among civilians.
