Daraa | Members of Russian-backed Eighth Brigade open fire on wanted suspect

Daraa province: A young man was injured after he was directly shot by members of the Russian-backed “Eighth Brigade” in Jassim City in northern Daraa countryside.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the young man is wanted by the Legal Arbitration Committee of the Central Committees, due to a complaint issued against him by another person.

Since early 2024, SOHR activists have documented 241 incidents of security disorder in Daraa province, which left 259 people dead; and they are as follows:

76 civilians, including six women and 18 children.

78 regime soldiers, members and collaborators with regime security services.

17 men accused of “involving in drug business.”

Five members of the Russian-backed 8th Brigade.

17 ISIS members, including a commander.

57 members of local factions.

Seven persons collaborating with the Lebanese Hezbollah.

A regime dissident colonel.

One unidentified person.
