Responding to complaints of residents | Anti-Crime Service launches campaign against drug dealers in Al-Raqqa

The Anti-Crime Service operating in “SDF” areas launched a campaign against drug dealers in Al-Raqqa.

The campaign included Harat Al-Badow area, Ramila neighbourhood, Al-Dariya area, Abo Al-Hais Street and several other areas in the city.

The members arrested five people for “drug dealing”, in response to complaints of residents due to widespread of drugs and weapons that lead to security chaos in the city, countryside and camps areas.

On August 24, the Internal Security Forces “Al-Asayesh” carried out a combing campaign in search for ISIS cells in Al-Raqqa and Al-Tabaka Cities, where several people accused of “belonging to ISIS” were arrested and weapons were confiscated, and the arrested people were taken to a security branch.
