“Euphrates Shield” | Gunman kil*led in clashes between members of a tribe in Aleppo

Aleppo province: A member of Al- Qora’an Tribe died affected by wounds he sustained two weeks ago, in clashes between two groups of Al-Qora’an Tribe in Ain Al-Baida Village in Jarablus countryside north eastern of Aleppo, where clashes erupted in Jarablus countryside northern of Aleppo within “Euphrates Shield” areas on August 14.

Accordingly, the number of people killed in the clashes has risen to two, where parties used heavy and medium weapons, due to the renewal of an old vendetta between members of the tribe in Al-Qoriya City including gunmen in Jarablus City in “Euphrates Shield” areas.

On August 23, clashes erupted in Jarabulus city in “Euphrates Shield” area following disputes between “Al-Dalmakhi” and “Al-Sawanat” families, after a member of “Al-Dalmakhi” family had stabbed two persons from “Al-Sawanat” family with a bladed weapon. The two injured persons were taken to the hospital.

The clashes coincided with a state of tension and chaos in the region, amid appeals by locals to dignitaries to intervene and break up the clashes.

This coincided with the escalating security chaos in areas controlled by Turkish forces and their proxy militias.
