New infighting | Three persons killed and wounded in northern Al-Suwaidaa

Al-Suwaidaa province: A young man was killed and two others sustained various injuries in the regime-controlled village of Amrah in the northern countryside of Al-Suwaidaa. The injured persons were taken to the hospital.

 

This coincides with the escalating security chaos in regime-controlled areas.

 

The Syrian Observatory has documented 218 murders in regime-controlled areas since early 2024, where domestic violence and armed robberies were behind some of these murders, while motives behind the others remained unknown. These murder crimes left 242 fatalities: 13 children, 44 women and 184 young and adult men. The fatalities are distributed regionally as follows:

 

  • Daraa: 71 murder crimes left 66 men, five children and 12 women dead.

 

  • Rif Dimashq: 42 murder crimes left 34 men, three children and ten women dead.

 

  • Homs: 24 murder crimes left 20 men, a little girl and four women dead.

 

  • Al-Suwaidaa: 22 murder crimes left 16 men, a little boy and six women dead.

 

  • Hama: 15 murder crimes left 13 men, three women and two children dead.

 

  • Tartus: Ten murder crimes left eight men, a child and a woman dead.

 

  • Deir Ezzor: 11 murder crimes left nine men and two women dead.

 

  • Damascus: Seven murder crimes left two women and six men dead.

 

  • Latakia: Eight murder crimes left seven men and two women dead.

 

  • Aleppo: Nine murder crimes left six men and three women dead.

 

  • Al-Hasakah: Two murder crimes left two men dead.

 

  • Al-Quneitra: One murder crime left a man dead.
