I*E*D explo*sion | IS*IS cells target military vehicle of SDF in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: A violent explosion was heard due to the explosion of an IED planted by ISIS cells on the outskirts of Al-Jarzy Town eastern of Deir Ezzor, as a military vehicle of SDF passed in the area. However, no casualties were reported.

SOHR has documented 176 operations carried out by ISIS, including armed attacks, executions and explosions targeting military and security forces, in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration since early 2024. According to SOHR statistics, these operations left 87 fatalities:

54 members of SDF, the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) and other military formations operating in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration.

12 ISIS members.

21 civilians, including a child, a witch and four guards of civil institutions.

These operations are distributed regionally as follows:

Deir Ezzor: 153 attacks left 41 combatants, 15 civilians, including a child and a witch, and eight ISIS members dead.

Al-Hasakah: 13 attacks left seven combatants, four ISIS members and a civilian dead.

Al-Raqqah: Nine attacks left six combatants and five civilians, including four guards of civil institutions of the Autonomous Administration, dead.

Aleppo: One operation left no fatalities.
