Ongoing violations | Al-Amshat exploits residents of Efrin and threaten them

Aleppo province: Members of Al-Sultan Murad “Al-Amshat” forced owners of agricultural tractors in Haikajiya Village in Shiya district in Efrin countryside to work on transporting construction materials to build military headquarters in Qarmatalk, where 300 owners of tractors obeyed and others were threatened to be arrested by the faction in case they refuse to work.

Earlier today, members of “Al-Sultan Suleiman Shah” known as “Al-Amshat,” assaulted and insulted four civilians, including elderly man because they were unable to pay a levy of 100 USD that the faction imposed on each house within areas under their influence.
“Al-Sultan Suleiman Shah” faction continue their violations against civilians in different ways in Ma’abtaly district in Afrin countryside in northern Aleppo countryside. This coincided with a state of high public discontent due to the failure of the relevant authorities to react to the residents’ complaints regarding the abuses committed by the faction in the area.
