Demographic change | New residential complex established in Afrin, with support of Pakistani organisation

Aleppo province: The Pakistani “Flood Relief” organisation, in collaboration with the Turkish Diyanet Foundation, built a new residential complex called “Al-Madinah Village,” in Kar Roum village in Sharan district in Afrin countryside within areas controlled by Turkish forces and their proxies.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the complex was constructed after trees in a forested area were cut down by members of “Al-Sultan Murad” faction to facilitate the construction process.

The complex consists of 84 residential units, including mosques and schools, to settle families of militiamen of pro-Turkey factions from Homs province.

This comes as a part of ongoing efforts to change the demography of “Olive Branch” area, under the sponsorship of foreign parties that support settlement projects as part of their ongoing efforts to Turkify the region and change its identity.

On March 25, SOHR sources reported that the licensed association in Turkey “White Hands” opened 80 new residential apartments in the complex called “Basmah” in Shaderah village in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside, within “Olive Branch” area in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

This comes as part of housing the families of the Turkish-backed gunmen and those who were forcibly deported from Turkish territory towards the areas of “Euphrates Shield”, “Olive Branch” and “Peace Spring”, and as a continuation of the implementation of the Turkish project based on changing the demographics of the region and Turkifying it, after the displacement of a third of its indigenous population.
