In conjunction with popular rejection of its opening by Turkish government | Unknown shells target vicinity of Abu Al-Zandin crossing

Aleppo province: Several mortar shells from an unknown source fell in the vicinity of Abu Al-Zandin crossing, which connects regime-held areas with the “Euphrates Shield” area, which is under the control of the Turkish-backed factions in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, coinciding with the state of congestion and popular rejection of the opening of the crossing by the Turkish government.
Today, activists renewed their calls to join the sit-in that has been ongoing since the beginning of July under the name “Dignity Sit-in” in Al-Bab city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, rejecting Turkish guardianship over areas controlled by the “National Army” factions in northern Syria. Hundreds of civilians are participating in the sit-in from the cities of Azaz, Marea, Al-Bab, Afrin and other towns in “Olive Branch” and “Euphrates Shield” regions in Aleppo countryside, demanding the restoration of the military decision and rejecting the rapprochement between the Syrian and Turkish regimes.
