Death toll update | Number of members of Iran-backed militias killed rise to nine in attack by US drone on their vehicle

Deir Ezzor province: The number of members of Syrian Iran-backed militias, who were killed in an attack by a US drone on their vehicle in the area between Al-Kashma and Al-Daweer Villages in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside near borders between Syria and Iraq, has risen to nine.

This comes 48 hours after “Kharab Al-Jeir” US military base in Al-Hasakah countryside was attacked directly by a drone.

The US forces failed to block the drone that was launched from Iraqi lands, where that was considered the first direct attack on US military bases in Syria since months.
