Ongoing clashes | Clashes renew between regime forces and SDF on banks of Euphrates River

Deir Ezzor province: A girl was injured in her hand after members of the regime forces stationed in Al-Baghiliya area western of Euphrates attacked a military checkpoint of SDF with machineguns in Al-Hisan Town in western Deir Ezzor countryside.

Al-Janina Town in western Deir Ezzor countryside witnessed intermittent clashes between regime forces and SDF on banks of Euphrates River. However, no casualties were reported.

These clashes come after alarming calm after ten days of clashes.

Earlier today, Engineering vehicles belonging to SDF have started digging trenches and raising earthen berms near Jadid Ekidat village in eastern eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, adjacent to the frontlines with regime forces in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, in anticipation of security breaches and infiltration operations that may be carried out by gunmen loyal to Iran from the western bank of the Euphrates river.
Meanwhile, SDF dug a large trench at the point adjacent to regime forces in Tabiyah Jazeirah village in the same area.
