Psychological warfare | Hebrew TV channel circulate false reports on Israeli attacks in Homs following explosions caused by fireworks

The Syrian Observatory has tracked the reports circulated by the Israeli TV Channel 14 on explosions in Homs, where the Hebrew channel claimed that they were caused by new Israeli attacks.

SOHR activists have confirmed that the explosions which were heard in Homs were caused by fireworks.

This was not the first time for Israeli media outlets to circulate false reports on attacks on positions in Syria as a part of their psychological warfare.

SOHR has documented 104 attacks: 71 airstrikes and 33 rocket attacks by ground forces since the beginning of brutal offensive on Gaza. Those attacks destroyed nearly 204 targets, including weapons and ammunitions warehouses, headquarters, centres and vehicles.

The Israeli attacks in Syria during this period, between October 10, 2023 and August 15, 2024, also left 259 combatants dead and 147 others injured.
