After four years of detention | Young man dies under torture in regime’s prisons

Idlib province: A young man from Abu Makkah village in Idlib countryside, died under psychological and physical torture in the notorious Saidnaya prison, after four years of detention.
According to information, the young man was arrested by the regime after returning to Syrian territory from Kasab border crossing with Turkey.
According to SOHR statistics, the number of people who have died under torture in regime prisons and security centres since early 2024 has reached 37, including a political activist, a writer, a university student, an engineer and a civilian holding American citizenship
