New Israeli airstrikes | Israeli drone attacks car on Damascus-Beirut highway, leaving person dead
SOHR sources have reported that an Israeli drone attacked a car on Damascus-Beirut highway near Al-Zabadani, where smoke was seen rising from the targeted site. The attack left a person who was inside the car dead.
Earlier today, SOHR sources confirmed that the two airstrikes which were carried out yesterday by Israeli fighter jets targeted Matraba area which is under symbolic control by regime forces. This area is considered a crossing used by the Lebanese Hezbollah to move trucks and militiamen between Syria and Lebanon.
It is worth noting that one of the airstrikes targeted a convoy of trucks, while the other targeted a farm in Al-Qusayr countryside which is controlled by the Lebanese Hezbollah in Homs countryside. The attacks resulted in burning down several trucks, but no casualties have been reported.
