After weeks of calm | Russian warplanes attack “ISIS” positions in Homs desert

Russian warplanes carried out intensive airstrikes on “ISIS” positions in Palmyra and Al-Sukhnah deserts in the eastern countryside of Homs, after monitoring and following the movements of “ISIS” in the area, while no causalities were reported.
The Syrian desert has recently witnessed a noticeable decline in the number of Russian raids on “ISIS” positions, after Russian forces intensified their strikes during the past month, by launching more than 100 airstrikes targeting “ISIS” positions in Hama, Homs, Deir Ezzor and Al-Raqqah deserts.
The Syrian desert is considered one of the areas where “ISIS” members are most active, and from which operations are launched against military sites of the regime and the militias working with it, often resulting in deaths and injuries among the ranks of the regime.
On July 6, Russian warplanes launched several airstrikes on different positions of ISIS in Homs and Al-Raqqa Deserts
