In conjunction with escalation of its attacks | Russian airstrikes target sites where “ISIS” members are hiding in Syrian desert

The Russian Air Force carried out several airstrikes targeting sites where “ISIS” members were hiding in various areas of the Syrian desert, coinciding with “ISIS” escalating its attacks during the past hours, targeting sites, posts and vehicles of the regime forces. Within 48 hours, it carried out three attacks in the deserts of Deir Ezzor and Al-Raqqah, leaving six regime soldiers dead, including an officer with the rank of “first lieutenant”, in addition to injuring others.
On July 6, regime forces brought ground military reinforcements to Al-Bushra Desert in western Deir Ezzor countryside, withdrew a large number of members of the “Fourth Division” and sent them to combat positions in the Syrian Desert to carry out combing operations in search of ISIS cells, coinciding with airstrikes by Russian warplanes on positions of ISIS.
