New attack | IS*IS cells ki*ll and injure three members of “National Defence” in Al-Bushra Desert

Deir Ezzor province: Gunmen of ISIS cells launched a violent attack on military checkpoints of the “National Defence” Forces in Al-Bushra Desert western of Deir Ezzor, while violent clashes erupted between both sides as two members were killed and one was injured.

According to SOHR statistics, the number of fatalities in military operations in the Syrian desert since early 2024 has increased to 460; and they are as follows:

– 29 ISIS members, three of whom were killed in Russian airstrikes and the others were killed by regime forces and their proxy militias.

– 385 members of regime forces and their proxy militias, including 33 Iranian-backed Syrian militiamen and three members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, were killed in 157 operations by ISIS members, including ambushes, armed attacks, and explosions, in west Euphrates region and the deserts of Deir Ezzor, Al-Raqqah, Homs.

– 46 civilians, including a child, a sorcerer and a woman, were killed in attacks by ISIS in the Syrian Desert.

Here is a regional distribution of ISIS attacks:

-Deir Ezzor desert: 53 operations left 138 fatalities:

111 combatants, including 12 Iranian-backed militiamen.

Eight ISIS members.

19 civilians, including 17 truffle pickers, among them there was a woman.

-Homs desert: 73 operations left 220 fatalities:

186 combatants, including 15 Iranian-backed militiamen.

18 ISIS members.

16 civilians, including two truffle pickers.

-Al-Raqqah desert: 18 operations left 54 fatalities:

47 combatants, including two Iranian-backed militiamen.

Three ISIS members.

Four civilians, including two truffle pickers.

-Hama desert: 11 operations left 42 fatalities:

35 combatants, including an Iranian-backed militiaman.

Seven civilians, including a child.

-Aleppo: Two operations left five combatants, including three Iranian-backed militiamen, dead.
