In continuation of chaos and spread of wea-pons | Person kil-led and his son inju-red in Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor province: A person was killed and his son was injured, due to the renewal of an old vendetta between two families, in Jazrat Al-Buhumaid town, west of Deir Ezzor, within SDF-held areas, where an attacker directly shot them to take revenge, without referring to justice or tribal custom.

The Syrian Observatory has documented 64 murder crimes in SDF-controlled areas since early 2024, where domestic violence and armed robbery were behind some of these murders, while motivations behind the others remained unknown. These murders left 68 civilian fatalities, including 52 men, seven children and nine women; they are distributed regionally as follows:

Al-Hasakah: 21 civilians, including two children and four women.

Deir Ezzor: 25 civilians, including two children and three women.

Al-Raqqah: 18 civilians, including three children and two women.

Aleppo: Four men; three men in Manbij and a man in Ain Al-Arab (Kobani).
