Security vacuum | Explosion of grenade thrown by unidentified individuals on house in northern Homs injures three civilians

Homs province: Three civilians sustained various injuries by the explosion of a grenade thrown by unidentified individuals on a house they were staying in Al-Makramiyah village in the northern countryside of Homs. The injured civilians were taken to the hospital, while the attackers managed to escape. The identities of the attackers and the reasons behind this attack remain unknown.

This coincides with the escalating security chaos in regime-controlled areas.

On May 4, SOHR sources reported that four people were injured after a wanted suspect of the security forces threw a hand grenade in Al-Thawra Street in Salmiya City in eastern Hama countryside, while being pursued by a security patrol of the regime forces.
