Deir Ezzor | Coalition Forces and SDF conduct military drills in northern countryside

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported hearing loud explosions, which were caused by joint military drills by International Coalition Forces and SDF in the US base in Koniko gas field in northern Deir Ezzor. This coincided with flights by Coalition fighter jets over the region.

This round of military drills comes as a part of ongoing efforts to raise combat readiness of fighters in order to cope with expected attacks.

On June 24, SOHR sources reported that International Coalition Forces conducted military exercises at “Koniko” gas field base in northern Deir Ezzor countryside, with aerial support by International Coalition’s fighter jets.
