Deir Ezzor province: A Syrian member of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia was killed in the explosion of a hand grenade, and his sister was injured and taken to the hospital to receive proper medication due to disputes over an amount of money, in Al-Ashara Town within areas of regime forces and Iranian militias in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.

On May 19, a commander of the Iranian militias of unknown nationality was killed in an attack by unidentified gunmen in Al-Bokamal Desert in Deir Ezzor countryside, while he was checking the checkpoints in the region.
