With ongoing protests | Regime claims to ki*ll an ISIS member and arrest another in Al-Suwaydaa

Al-Suwaydaa province: The regime forces claimed that they carried out a storming operation on headquarters of ISIS cells near Al-Naql Checkpoint in Al-Mansoura Neighbourhood in Al-Suwaydaa City, where one member of ISIS from tribes of the region was killed and another one from Al-Ghouta Al-Sharqiyah in Rif Dimashq was arrested, while an amount of ammunition, suicidal belts and explosives were found, according to media agencies.

Meanwhile, sources in the region doubted these reports and confirmed that members of Al-Naql Checkpoint haven’t heard any sounds or seen movements for the operation.

On May 4, the regime forces brought new military reinforcements towards Al-Suwaidaa province. According to the information, the new reinforcements are considered the largest in the past few days, and includes soldiers, tanks, military armoured vehicles and dozens of heavy vehicles.
The reinforcements followed massive demonstrations in Al-Suwaidaa city, to respond to the military build-ups brought by the regime forces to Al-Suwaidaa province, “after the incident of detaining officers” about a week ago, which was translated as a prelude to suppress the movement in the province.
