Lifting slogans against regime and its government | Dozens of Al-Suwaidaa residents participate in demonstration in centre of city

Al-Suwaidaa province: Today, dozens of civilians from Al-Suwaidaa gathered in Al-Karamah square in the centre of the city, to participate in a new demonstration to confirm the continuation of the popular uprising against the regime and its government and to demand the release of detainees, freedom, and the peaceful transition of power, and the implementation of UN Resolution 2254. The demonstrators lifted placards with slogans against the regime.
Yesterday, dozens of Al-Suwaidaa people protested in front of the engineers’ union in the city, demanding the hands-off of security services and Al-Baath party from unions, lifting placards with slogans that read: “Liberating society begins with liberating the unions”, “A revolutionary does not extinct” and “Unions must be supportive of their members, not a burden on them”.
