After kil-ling of five of them during past year | Ar-med cla-shes renewed between two tribes leaving de-ad and inj-ured in Al-Hamrat area in eastern countryside of Al-Raqqah

Al-Raqqah province: Two civilians were killed following the eruption of tribal armed clashes between “Al-Jamasah” tribe and “Al-Balasem” family of “Al-Medlej” tribe in Hamrat Balasem village in Al-Hamrat area within SDF-held areas in the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqah, following an armed attack launched by young men from “Al-Medlej” tribe against “Al-Jamasah” tribe, against the backdrop of the renewal of an old dispute between the two tribes, as violent clashes erupted between both sides during the past year 2023, which led to the death of five persons of the two sides, amid continued tension in the region and calls by the residents for notables and security authorities, to intervene and disengage the clashes.
Accordingly, the number of infightings which followed disputes over retaliation and family and tribal disagreements in areas controlled by the Autonomous Administration has reached four since early 2024. According to SOHR statistics, these infightings left three people dead and four others injured; they are distributed regionally as follows:

• Deir Ezzor: Two infightings left four people injured.

• Al-Raqqah: Two infighting left three people killed
