New attack | Iranian-backed groups fire two missiles on Koniko gas field base and International Coalition Forces react by shelling position in Deir Ezzor city
Deir Ezzor province: Iranian-backed groups stationed within areas controlled by regime forces and Iranian-backed militias fired two missiles on the US base in Koniko gas field in northern Deir Ezzor countryside. It is worth noting that the two missiles did not explode.
Meanwhile, International Coalition Forces reacted by firing three artillery shells on the vicinity of the youth housing in Al-Tala’e Al-Ba’ath camp in Deir Ezzor city.
Since October 19, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) documented 96 attacks carried out by Iranian-backed militias on Coalition bases in different areas across Syria.
Here is a breakdown of those attacks:
- 22 attacks on Al-Omar oil field base.
- 15 attack on Al-Shaddadi base in Al-Hasakah countryside.
- 25 attacks on Koniko gas field base.
- 16 attacks on the Kharab Al-Jair base in Al-Rumailan.
- 12 attacks on Al-Tanf garrison.
- Two attacks on Tel Baydar base in Al-Hasakah countryside.
- Two attacks on the American base in Rubarya in Al-Malikiyah countryside.
- One attack on Qasrak base in Al-Hasakah countryside.
- One attack on Istrahat Wazir base in Al-Hasakah countryside.
