Military escalation | Artillery shells fired from areas where regime and Kurdish forces developed hit two Turkish bases within “Euphrates Shield” area
Aleppo province: Two consecutive explosions were heard in Aleppo countryside, which were caused by artillery fire from areas where regime and Kurdish forces are deployed on Turkish bases in Kaljabreen and Dabiq within “Euphrates Shield” area, where plumes of smoke were seen rising from the targeted sites. However, no casualties have been reported.
On January 17, SOHR sources reported that three civilians were injured under artillery shelling by Turkish forces targeting Sha’ala Village in northern Aleppo countryside within areas of Kurdish and regime forces and they were taken to a hospital to receive proper medication.
