Amid sending fighters to participate in Ukraine war | Russian forces supervise training of fighters of the 25th Special Forces
SOHR sources have reported that Russian forces continue training more members of the 25th Special Forces Division, which led by the brigadier general Suhail Al-Hassan. These forces are transported to Ukraine to participate in the Russian war against Ukraine for monthly salaries . Russian forces supervise the training of fighters on parachute landings, then transport those fighters through Hmeimim airport.
It is worth noting that the 25th Special Forces Division has actively involved in Russian war against Ukraine in mid-September 2022.
On November 6, Syrian Observatory sources reported that four Syrians fighting with Russians were killed at the end of last October and early November in Ukraine.
Accordingly, the death toll of Syrian fighters since the beginning of their participation in the Russian war on Ukraine has risen to nine.
It is worth noting that the number of Syrians recruited by Russia in its war against Ukraine, and transferred there, is nearly 2000 Syrians.
On September 21, SOHR sources inside the Russian-backed 25th Division “Special Operations”, which is led by Brigadier General Suhail Al-Hassan known as “Al-Namr” (Tiger), reported that hundreds of the division’s members, who have been in Ukraine for months, started participating in the fighting operations led by Russia against Ukraine.
According to reliable SOHR sources, the members started participating in the military operations within areas held by Russia in eastern of Ukraine, after they were moved from Syria to Russia through “Hamimim” Airport, and received military exercises during the past months. Moreover, many of them talk Russian after undergoing military courses in Russia last year before the start of the Russian military operations in Ukraine.
The 25th Division is directly supported by Russia, and the head of the 25th Division is the most trusted person by Russia in Syria. Members of the 25th Division fought alongside Russians in the war of Ukraine.
Suhail Al-Hassan committed massacres against civilians during the military operations in Syria, especially in Aleppo, in addition to being responsible for the explosive barrels, and his policy of scorched earth.
