Including children and women | Nearly 100 people crossed Syrian-Turkish borders from Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: Nearly 100 people including women and children from villages and towns of Al-Hasakah, crossed the Syrian-Turkish borders from the side of Al-Dirbasiyah Town via smuggling, taking advantage of the foggy weather in search of safe haven, in light of the consecutive ground and aerial attacks on the region, leaving human casualties and causing economic issues.

According to reliable SOHR sources, a large number of them managed to cross, while nearly 30 people were arrested by members of the Turkish Border Guards “Jandarma”, and they were returned to Syria after being tortured.

Accordingly, the number of people seeking safe haven, who crossed Turkish-Syrian borders through Al-Dirbasiyah countryside in 72 hours has risen to 400 people.

More than 300 people in the age of 17 to 25, managed to cross into Turkey during the past 24 hours via smuggling from SDF-held areas in western and eastern Al-Dirbasiya countryside, Abo Raseen countryside and areas held by Turkish forces and their proxies in “Peace Spring” area such as Alloum, Mabrouka, Tel Hilf and Al-Aziziya, taking advantage of the fog and rain in the region.
