“Human Slaughterhouse” | Two civilians die under torture in Saydnaya prison

Homs province: Two young men from Kafar Laha village in Homs countryside, were killed under torture in the notorious Saydnaya prison, the “Human Slaughterhouse”, one of them after being arrested in 2018 while returning from northern Syria towards Homs countryside after signing the “settlement” agreement, and the other after being arrested for nearly 5 years.
According to SOHR statistics, the number of people who have died under torture in regime prisons and security centres since early 2023 has reached 45, including a woman, a regime army defector, three young men with a settled-status, a member of the regime’s military security service, a member of a local faction in Al-Suwaidaa, a regime military correspondent and a former member of the “Free Army.”
