Idlib | Military commander of HTS killed in regime attack on western countryside
A commander of Sa’ad Brigade of HTS died affected by the wounds he sustained in an attack by regime forces on a military vehicle near Al-Kanada Village in Jisr Al-Shughour countryside western of Idlib.
Since early 2023, SOHR has documented 424 operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks, gunfire by snipers and bombardment, which left 609 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over 265 combatants and 210 civilians, including 25 women and 46 children, injured.
The fatalities can be distributed as follows:
108 civilians, including 14 women, 43 children, a civil defence member and a nurse, were killed by regime forces.
381 members of regime forces, including 27 officers.

91 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, including a French jihadist.
14 members of the jihadist faction of “Ansar Al-Tawhid.”
