Killing regime officer and soldier | HTS shell regime positions in Aleppo, Latakia and Idlib

Two members of regime forces, including a lieutenant, were killed in an attack with a guided missile fired by HTS members on a regime personnel carrier, “Zil” vehicle, on Saraqeb frontline to the east of Idlib city.

 

HTS also bombarded regime positions in Uram Al-Sughra in the west of Aleppo and Nahshaba frontline in northern Latakia.

 

Meanwhile, regime forces reacted to HTS attacks by bombarding positions in the villages of Al-Fterah and Fulayfel in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib with heavy artillery. However, no casualties or material damage were reported.

 

Since early 2023, SOHR has documented 422 operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks, gunfire by snipers and bombardment, which left 607 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over 264 combatants and 210 civilians, including 25 women and 46 children, injured.

 

The fatalities can be distributed as follows:

 

  • 108 civilians, including 14 women, 43 children, a civil defence member and a nurse, were killed by regime forces.

 

  • 380 members of regime forces, including 27 officers.

 

  • An Afghan militiaman of “Liwaa Fatemiyoun.”

 

  • A member of the Syrian Hezbollah.

 

  • 90 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, including a French jihadist.

 

  • 14 members of the jihadist faction of “Ansar Al-Tawhid.”

 

  • One member of “Ahrar Al-Sham” movement.

 

  • Two members of “Al-Sham Corps.”

 

  • One member of “Hurras Al-Din” organisation.

 

  • The Commander-in-chief of Russian Special Tasks Forces.

 

  • A militiaman of the Iranian-backed “Liwaa Al-Baqer.”

 

  • A member of “Soqour Al-Sham.”

 

  • Six members of the “National Liberation Front.”
