Years after being arrests | Young man di*es under brutal tor*turing in regime prisons

Idlib province: An arrested young man from Jarjanaz Town in southern Idlib countryside died under brutal torturing and medical neglect inside regime prisons, where he was arrested by a patrol of the regime in 2011, during raids on houses in Jarjanaz.

The young man’s family were informed of his death from one of the released prisoners, where he confirmed that his death happened in 2015, which is four years after being arrested.

According to SOHR statistics, the number of people who have died under torture in regime prisons and security centres since early 2023 has reached 39, including a regime army defector, a member of the regime’s military security service, a member of a local faction in Al-Suwaidaa and a regime military correspondent.
