After less than a month | Young man di*es under brutal torture in prisons of the regime

Rif Dimashq province: A civilian died under brutal torturing during investigation in prisons of the State Security, where he was arrested for “writing sentences on walls against the regime and burning pictures of Bashar Al-Assad in Al-Tel City in Rif Dimashq.

The State Security informed the mayor of Al-Tel City in Rif Dimashq of the death of the young man on Friday November 25, where his family were informed and received his body from Al-Mojtahid Hospital, after less than a month from being arrested.

A patrol of the State Security arrested the young man from inside his house in Al-Tel City in late October, after less than ten days from releasing him, where he was arrested previously for nine months.

According to SOHR statistics, the number of people who have died under torture in regime prisons and security centres since early 2023 has reached 36, including a regime army defector, a member of the regime’s military security service, a member of a local faction in Al-Suwaidaa and a regime military correspondent.
