Including woman | Five civilians died under torture in regime’s detention centres since beginning of November

The regime’s security services continue to commit crimes against detainees and forcibly absentees in prisons and detention centres, and practice the most egregious forms of torture, as SOHR activists were able to document five, including a woman, who has died under torture since the beginning of November.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights calls on the concerned authorities to convey the detainees’ voices to the world, to give importance to this file, to limit these crimes and to find out the fate of those who have been lost or killed in the absence of prisons and detainees.
According to SOHR statistics, the number of people who have died under torture in regime prisons and security centres since early 2023 has reached 35, including a regime army defector, a member of the regime’s military security service, a member of a local faction in Al-Suwaidaa and a regime military correspondent.
