Lifting posters of “Sultan Basha Al-Atrash” | Hundreds of people participate in peaceful protest in Al-Suwaidaa countryside calling for toppling of regime

Al-Suwaidaa province: Hundreds of people from the villages of Umm Al-Reman, Baka, Al-Qaryah, Ara, Sabmi, Erman, Matan, Malh, and Salkhad participated in a peaceful protest in Al-Gharyiah town in Al-Suwaidaa countryside, demanding the overthrow of the Syrian regime, calling for freedom and stressing the continuity of the uprising in Al-Suwaidaa until the fulfilling of their demands. The demonstrators lifted a poster of “Sultan Basha Al-Atrash” in the centre of Al-Ghariyah town’s square.

Earlier today, SOHR sources reported that tens of civilians from Al-Suwaidaa province arrived in Al-Sir\Al-Karamah square in the centre of the city, to participate in a new demonstration, demanding freedom, toppling of the head pf the regime, implementing the UN resolution 2254 and the peaceful transition of the power, in light of the continuation of the popular movement for the 57th consecutive day. The demonstrators chanted slogans against the regime and lifted placards with slogans demanding its departure written on them.
