We, at the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), call upon all international authorities to prioritise addressing this disaster and provide help and support to Syrian victims and their families who are away from their homeland. It is worth noting that most of Syrians in Libya are young men who have fled from the disastrous situation in Syria and used Libya a transit point before heading to Europe.
