A day before demobilizing him | Regime officer hangs soldier to death following dispute between them in military barracks in Daraa countryside
Daraa province: A regime officer hanged a reservist to death in military barracks in Daraa countryside following a dispute between them.
According to SOHR sources, the dead soldier had been arrested at a regime checkpoint and driven to perform reserve service in military barracks in Al-Qaniyah village on the highway between Damascus and Daraa, where a dispute erupted between him and the officer who hanged the soldier to death, a day before the soldier’s release from service.
Regime authorities claimed that the soldier killed himself, as he was suffering from psychological stress, while his relatives demanded hold the killer accountable.
It is worth noting that the dead man had stuck a reconciliation deal with the Syrian regime in 2018, before he was driven to perform reserve service.
