Demographic changes | Turkish authorities deport 500 Syrians to Tel Abyad in ten days
The Turkish authorities have deported nearly 500 Syrians to “Peace Spring” operation areas through Tel Abyad Crossing in northern Al-Raqqa countryside since the beginning of August, in continuation of the demographic changes in northern of Syria, where the Turkish authorities work on transporting Syrians from different provinces to “Peace Spring” areas in Al-Raqqa countryside, that is isolated from other areas of the factions.
According to reliable SOHR sources, the deportation operations took place in daily batches, where the deported people are transported from Turkey to “Peace Spring” areas.
On August 4, Turkish authorities forcibly deported nearly 60 Syrians including 30 women and ten children from Turkey to Syrian territory in Tel Abyad City in Al-Raqqa countryside.
On August 2, Turkish authorities deported more than 160 Syrian refugee, including women and children, through the border crossings between Syria and Turkey towards Tel Abyad and Ras Al-Ain areas, within “Peace Spring” area.
