“Euphrates Shield” areas | Gu*nmen of Ahrar Al-Sham kidnap and field exe*cute civilian

Aleppo province: A young man of Al-Johaishat Tribe working as driver of trucks carrying tanks was executed by gunmen of the Military Safira Council that belongs to Ahrar Al-Sham faction, after they kidnapped him from Tarhin Village in northern Aleppo countryside, where they tortured him in the building of the council before shooting him in the head.

On the same context, military factions mobilized in Tarhin Village in Al-Bab countryside within “Euphrates Shield” areas in Aleppo countryside, with no information regarding the reasons behind the execution of the young man.

This comes in light of the ongoing security chaos in areas of Turkish-backed factions in “Euphrates Shield” areas.

On August 8, violent clashes with light and medium weapons erupted between the Military Police and a group of drug dealers, during the first security campaign in Shamarikh Camp near Shamarin Village in A’zaz countryside north western of Aleppo on the borders between Syria and Turkey. However, no casualties were reported.
