New patch | Turkish authorities deport 160 Syrian refugees to Tel Abyad area in Al-Raqqah countryside

Al-Raqqah province: Turkish authorities continue to deport Syrian refugees on a daily basis in a large campaign they recently launched under many pretexts, as between 50 to 100 refugees are being deported daily from within their territory towards areas controlled by “Olive Branch”, “Euphrates Shield” and “Peace Spring” factions, through the crossings separating between Syrian and Turkish sides.
On the same context, yesterday, Turkish authorities deported 160 Syrian refugees, including women and children, from their territory towards Tel Abyad\Gire Sepi area in Al-Raqqah countryside, within “Peace Spring” area, where they entered the area through Al-Terwaziyah line, in order to settle them in the area under the name of the voluntary return, in a completion of a demographic change in the region.
Sources have confirmed that deportations are being carried out forcibly, and some of the deportees are being subjected to arrests immediately after they enter north of Syria by the Turkish-backed factions, for unknown reasons.
Yesterday, SOHR reported that Turkish authorities deported nearly 45 Syrian refugees today, including women and children through Al-Hamam crossing in Jindires countryside in Afrin city within “Olive Branch” area. It is worth noting that some of people who deported having Turkish identity cards ”Kimlik”, to settle them in the residential complexes which it had established in the so called “safe zone,” as a part of demographic change in “Euphrates Shield,” “Olive Branch,” and “Peace Spring” areas.
