Following arrival of regime reinforcement | Turkish forces and their proxies shell villages in north Aleppo countryside

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported that Turkish forces and their proxy factions fired artillery shells on the surrounding areas of Al-Shawarghah village in the northern countryside of Aleppo and Ibbin village in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside in north-western Aleppo, which caused material damage only.

This coincides with the arrival of large military reinforcement of regime forces in Aleppo countryside from Rif Dimashq.

On June 17, SOHR sources reported that five civilians were injured this noon due to artillery fire on camps in Trandah village in Afrin countryside within “Olive Branch” area. The injured people were taken to the hospital, amid displacement of residents to safer neighbouring areas. According to the sources the shells were fired from areas where regime and Kurdish forces are deployed.
