Security tightening | Regime forces bring military reinforcements to Deir Ezzor city
Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have monitored the arrival of military reinforcements, comprising three large and medium sized buses carrying nearly 130 members of the 18th Division of the regime forces to Deir Ezzor city, amid security tightening.
Deir Ezzor city witnessed the entrance and exit of military buses carrying members of the regime forces nearly daily, in addition to trucks of the Iranian militias deployed extensively in the city and its neighbourhoods.
Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that two cooling trucks with one person escorting each truck entered the security square in Al-Mayadin city “the capital of Iranian militias in eastern of Syria”, where it is believed that the trucks are loaded with weapons for Iranian militias amid extensive security tightening. The trucks then headed towards Al-Bokamal city in Deir Ezzor countryside.
The Iranian militias use specialized cooling trucks to move vegetables as camouflage to hide weapons, in fear of being attacked by International Coalition air forces and unidentified planes.
