Searching for attackers| Regime forces launch security campaign following death of two members in armed attack near occupied Syrian Golan

Al-Quneitra province: SOHR sources have reported that regime forces and their proxy militias started combing operations in Al-Quneitra countryside, searching for the gunmen who shot dead two members of regime forces in an area between Jabba and Masharah villages.

Meanwhile, clashes with light and medium weapons erupted between regime forces and the attackers who also attacked a military post in Rasm Khamis area in the southern countryside of Al-Quneitra, which resulted in the injury of a regime officer.

The region has experienced growing tension, amid heavy deployment of security forces along with firing flares on position where the attackers are expected to be hiding.

This comes as a part of the deteriorating security situation in regime-controlled areas.

A few hours ago, SOHR sources reported that unknown gunmen kidnapped a regime soldier and a regime-backed militiaman and shot them dead in an area between Jabba and Masharah villages in Al-Quneitra countryside, before the gunmen escaped.
