Amid tension on Syrian-Jordanian border | Dignitaries of Lebanese Hezbollah offer condolences to family of Mar’i Al-Ramthan which vows revenge

Al-Suwaidaa province: SOHR sources have reported that the Syrian-Jordanian border witnessed a state of alert among border guard forces in the Syrian side, in coinciding with an alert and the bringing in military vehicles to the border in the Jordanian side near Al-Sha’ab village in the eastern countryside of Al-Suwaidaa. This came after the killing of the most prominent drug dealer Mar’i Al-Ramthan, his wife and his six children.
Sources have confirmed that the family of Al-Ramthan vowed revenge during the funeral, after dignitaries of Lebanese “Hezbollah” attended it, with a complete absence of dignitaries of the regime.
It is worth noted that Al-Ramthan tribe spreads in the Jordanian land and has a strong influence in Jordan.
Despite the airstrike, which is considered the first of its kind targeting a building of the most prominent drug dealer in the eastern countryside of Al-Suwaidaa, but the Iranian militias continue to bring large quantities of raw materials for drug industry to a local factory in Al-Mayadeen, under the direct supervision by Lebanese “Hezbollah” as a clear message that the targets did not affect their trade, primarily drug trade.
Yesterday, SOHR reported the killing of the person called Mar’I Al-Ramthan and his family which included his wife and six children, was confirmed, due to the airstrike of a warplane which is likely to be Jordanian, targeted a building that Al-Ramthan stayed in Al-Sha’ab village in the eastern countryside of Al-Suwaidaa at the Syrian-Jordanian border. Al-Ramthan was the most prominent drug dealer in the area and the first responsible for smuggling it to Jordan from Al-Sha’ab the border village, he was mainly related with leaders of Lebanese Hezbollah.
SOHR condemns the killing of the wife and her children, and denounces this crime, since the presence of a wanted person as Al-Ramthan does not justify the killing of his children and wife with him.
