Asking for ransoms | Turkish-backed military police arrest two civilians in Afrin
Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported that a patrol of the Turkish-backed military police arrested two civilians from Haj Khalil village in Raju district in Afrin countryside in north-western Aleppo a few days ago for “taking video footages,” asking their families to pay ransoms in return for their release.
Earlier today, SOHR sources reported that members of a patrol of the military police arrested two civilians from Ba’danli village in Raju district in Afrin countryside in north-western Aleppo on April 1 for “dealing with the former Autonomous Administration,” with the aim of collecting ransoms from their families.
On the other hand, border guards affiliated to “Sultan Murad” Division continued holding a Syrian journalist and his wife from Damascus, after having been arbitrarily arrested, while they were attempting to sneak from Turkey into Syria with the help of smugglers.
