Reacting to attack on occupied Syrian Golan | Israeli shells and missiles hit military positions in Al-Quneitra, Daraa and Al-Suwaidaa

SOHR sources have reported that Israeli fighter jets and drones attacked several positions this dawn, targeting the Radar Battalion in the western countryside of Al-Suwaidaa, the 90th Brigade near the border with the occupied Syrian Golan in Al-Quneitra countryside, the 52nd Brigade in the eastern countryside of Daraa and other positions and posts in the area of the Yarmouk Basin in the western countryside of Daraa.

 

Israel also fired artillery shells on several positions in Al-Quneitra and Daraa countryside.

 

The Israeli aerial and ground strikes caused material damage, but no casualties have been reported so far.

 

The Israeli attack follows renewed rocket fire on the occupied Syrian Golan with missiles fired from Syrian territory, where three missiles were fired in the early hours of Sunday morning on the occupied Syrian Golan. Three other missiles had been fired on the same area from Syria just before midnight.

 

Three days ago, SOHR activists learned that the two victims, who died in the glass laboratory in Al-Kaswa area in Rif Dimashq due to the Israeli shelling on April 4, were volunteers of the Lebanese Hezbollah in the battalions of what is known as “Syrian Resistance to Free the Occupied Golan.” The two victims are Syrians are hail from Al-Qonaitara and Al-Suwaydaa. Iran-backed militias and “Hezbollah” members are stationed in several institutions in Rif Dimashq, that are used to store weapons and upgrade them, in addition of using drones.
