Sneak att*ack | Seven casu*alties among regime forces on Idlib frontlines

Three regime soldiers were killed and four others were injured in a sneak attack by a group of regime soldiers on positions of “Abo Bakr Al-Siddek” Brigade, which belongs to HTS, on Folaifal and Al-Haloba frontlines in southern Idlib countryside.

Moreover, two members of “Abo Bakr Al-Siddek” Brigade were injured during the clashes, coinciding with shelling by artillery shells and missiles by regime forces on Folaifal, Al-Haloba, Safohin and Al-Fatera villages in Jabal Al-Zawiyah.

Regime forces stationed at checkpoints in the vicinity of “Putin-Erdogan” area shelled the vicinity of Folaifal and Al-Fatera villages southern of Idlib and the vicinity of Al-Nairab town eastern of Idlib, with heavy weaponry.

On the same context, factions of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operation room fired mortar shells on regime positions on the frontline of Basraton town in western Aleppo countryside within “Putin-Erdogan” area, causing only material damages.

Since early 2023, SOHR has documented 78 operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks, gunfire by snipers and bombardment, which left 158 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over 92 combatants and 22 civilians, including two women and other children, injured.
The fatalities can be distributed as follows:
• Six civilians were killed by regime forces.
• 110 members of regime forces, including eight officers.
• 38 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, including a French jihadist.
• Two members of the jihadist faction of “Ansar Al-Tawheed.
• One member of “Ahrar Al-Sham” movement.
• One member of “Al-Sham Corps”
