Amid ongoing cautious calm | Turkish forces shell village in Al-Raqqah countryside

Al-Raqqah province: Turkish forces fired heavy artillery shells on Teibah village in Ain Issa district in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah. No causalities were reported.

 

Areas in north-east Syria witnesses cautious calm interrupted by attacks by the Turkish forces with artillery shells and heavy machine guns on positions within SDF-held areas.

 

On March 3, SOHR reported that an SDF fighter was killed on the previous day in mortar fire by Turkish forces on Hushan village in Ain Issa countryside in northern Al-Raqqah.

 

It is worth noting that frontlines between SDF on one hand and Turkish forces and their proxies on the other experience sporadic attacks and clashes.

 

While on March 1, SOHR reported that an SDF fighter died of the wound he had sustained yesterday, when Turkish forces shelled positions in Sayda camp in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah.
