Surprising move | “Republican Guard” forces deploy 250 members in several border points on outskirts of Deir Ezzor city after withdrawal of “IRGC”

Deir Ezzor province: “The Republican Guard” forces have moved around 250 members, in a surprising move, to Huwaijat Sakar on the outskirts of Deir Ezzor city, where they deployed the members to several points on the river cliff of Huwaijat Sakar, few kilometers away from SDF-controlled areas. This comes after the withdrawal of “IRGC” from the region.

On February 13, SOHR reported that “International Coalition” drones were flying over the river separating SDF-held areas from regime-held areas and areas held by Iranian militias.

Moreover, drones were flying over Khisham town and its villages and Al-Ezba town all the way to Koniko gas field in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, to monitor the movements of Iranians and smuggling operations in the region.
