Rev*enge mu*rder | Civilian ki*lled in regime-held area in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: Yesterday evening, residents have found a young man dead with gunshot wounds in the head, where his body was dumped in a house in Al-Qouriyah city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The young man is said to be killed due to a revenge case, as he had killed another person a month ago.

That comes in light of the escalating average of family and tribal infightings across Syria over the rampant security chaos, as well as proliferation of weapons among civilians, where there are no laws to limit its deployment.

On January 8, SOHR sources reported that clashes erupted between “Al-Rahmo” and “Al-Sahoun” families, in Al-Sweieya town in the countryside of Al-Bokamal in the east of Deir Ezzor in regime-controlled area as a result of renewed revenge between the two families, what caused the injury of four people on both sides, where they were transferred to the hospital for treatment, amid growing tension in the area.
